So-called ‘christian warriors’ are a fading force in American politics. They are one/two issue voters with not much else to offer and a disproportionate amout of power. Liberals should be much more afraid of Centrists. They are unpredictable and the most demanding of voters. You aren’t going to fool them with Christian boogeyman talk. Liberals will have to explain themselves and historically, when they are honest about liberal ideology they lose elections.

and *christian* culture warriors – that’s ridiculous. i can play the same game. *liberal culture warriors*feminist culture warriors*islamic culture warriors* – any sub-culture that can be grouped and labeled because of a unified set of guiding principles is potentially a political force and as such can be considered *culture warriors*(and conservative christians are most definitely not the only politically active subculture) … you’re just more threatened by christians and are happy to use inflammatory phrases to elicit the emotional reaction you want and stigmatize your opponents.
