A Quick Temper Trumps Years of Experience

According to Richard Clarke, John McCain was ready for war with Iraq before Bush was.  Which strikes me as odd, since Bush’s first thought after he got the news on September 11th – after the notorious seven minutes of silence – was, “how do I link this to Iraq?”  Judgment indeed.  Obama may have less experience and ties to preachers that Americans love to hate, but McCain’s judgment would have started – earlier – a war that’s killed thousands and wasted billions of dollars.
