Feminism must hold that a woman cannot shed the very pro-equality movement that brought her within sight of the presidency when politically convenient: a true feminist does not burn her bridges when she doesn’t need them anymore… because women might. UPDATE: protest pictures from Palin’s “homecoming” in Anchorage, including: “Bristol got to choose, why can’t we?”

In the grand tradition of creationists attempting to tear down science whenever it shows the error of their ways, enter Andy Schlafly of Conservapedia with his latest defeat – the utter rejection of his complaints about a study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, that demonstrated “positive” evolution & creation of new information.
While the press finally calls McCain out on deceitfully misrepresenting Obama’s tax plan (inter alia), Alan Greenspan pegs McCain’s tax plan as “dangerous,” and the straight talker stoops to new lows, blaming Obama for tanking immigration reform (despite the fact that Obama & McCain cast identical votes). UPDATE: Greenspan, further: “this is the worst economy I’ve ever seen.”
