it is o.k., but what has she been doing? she’s been sitting on the boards of organizations, not leading research or writing meta-analyses, but raising money and lunching with other board members and “traditional” politicians …

ames is probably right … caroline might be the choice … though, i like paterson, and if anyone can do something unconventional and look charming and convincing doing it, he can … i hope he does …
