To follow Glenn Beck. You can’t make this up:
Let’s review what we’ve learned: “GI Joe,” a movie which from the previews looks like it will glorify the army as a force for good, is an insult to (“GLOBAL?”) Marines; 70% of America loves Glenn Beck and is therefore sane; it’s totally okay to use “retarded” as an insult (don’t tell Sarah Palin — doesn’t that clarify as “making fun of Trig”?); and Transformers II was surprisingly unrealistic (“who knew” indeed).
I’m going to hazard a guess. Based on these midnight-Saturday messages, and this bizarre screaming session, Glenn Beck has finally lost it, and is about one well-phrased insult away from breaking down. Any takers?

“Dear Glenn Beck,
You fight like a dairy farmer.
Hugs and kisses,
The Internets.”
Hi ACG,
No Beck fan, but let me help you out:
He’s mad about “GLOBAL” because GI Joe was originally an American force, the movie is stripping this out. Kinda like when Superman was for “Truth, Justice, all that stuff” according to Perry White in Superman Returns. While this is an incredibly whiny/sensitive thing to be mad about, factually it’s actually true that movies are stripping out some pro-American sentiments from old IPs to make them more globally palatable.
“retarded” – he doesn’t say it. He’s quoting someone as an example of the “hate” that he receives regularly.
70% of Americans are neither in the 15% most-to-the-left nor the 15% most-to-the-right. Statistically true, but I have no idea how extreme the views are of people in the 16th percentile from either edge. *shrug*
