The Value of Respect; Or, Politico: a Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

Our Presidents are often measured by the big-ticket items, but it’s good to remember the thousands of little improvements President Obama has brought to the White House. Can we honestly imagine Bush, McCain, or any Republican personally congratulating Annise Parker, the first gay mayor of a major American city?

Respect matters. Obama has restored that. Contrast the President’s words with some of our fellow citizens, commenting on Politico‘s post:

Figures This Muslim would be proud of She Dogs. So is his butt-buddy Rahm Emmanuuel, the anti-semite.
